Kitchen Cabinet Handles – With a little help online, most DIY owners are able to install their own kitchen cabinets, but poorly positioned or misaligned doors and drawers can ruin the entire installation. Install that pulls your wall cabinet within reach of all household members. Upper and lower handles position near the edges to provide maximum leverage while opening and closing doors. For a final touch, use a hardware cabinet drilling template to the door handles and drawers in a perfectly straight line across the width of the kitchen. Firstly, always select the best door handle or simple knob position. Place a kitchen hardware drilling template on the lower corner opposite the hinges on a wall cabinet door. Choose the most aesthetically pleasing position.
Mount the correct size drill bit of a cordless drill. Place the template in the corner of the door and use it as a guide. Place the drill in the selected hole and drill straight through the door holding the drill at a right angle. P the template and place it on the top opposite the hinges on a door of the base cabinet to duplicate the alignment of the wall kitchen cabinet handles. Mark the centerline of all your drawer fronts with a steel tape measure. Slot a drilling template drawer on top of the front of the drawer. Align the center notch in the template with the center line in the front of the drawer. Select the most aesthetically pleasing height for the knobs or handles and mask the rest of the template holes with masking tape.
Drill through the drawer fronts using the holes in the template as a guide. Drill through both top corners of the deep pot drawers in the same way when using the door kitchen cabinet handles template as a guide. Mount the hardware. Slide the washers into the hardware fixing screws, and then insert the screws through the holes from the inside. If you are adjusting the knobs, thread on the screws and tighten the knobs firmly by hand keeping the screw head constant with a screwdriver. With two handles screw, place the handle against the door and start the screw threads by hand. Tighten the screws with a bit for the drill.
